You will be glad to learn that the Govt.of India has decided to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and a National Committee has been constituted under the Chairmanship of Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan singh.
In this connection Salem Ramakrishna Mission Ashram proposes to undertake service projects and programs. One such project is Women upliftment – Free Tailoring Classes for interior and remote village people (Two Months Course).
The following places have been selected to implement the project:
1) Nangavalli
2) Taramangalam
3) Mecherry
4) Yercaud
5) Vedapatty
EXPENSES DETAILS
1) Each Machine cost = Rs. 10,000
for 25 Machines the cost will be Rs. 2,50,000
2) Salary for 1 teacher for 1 month = Rs.3,000
5 Teachers salary for 1 month = Rs.15,000
5 teachers salary for 12 months = Rs. 1,80,000
3) other expenses like tube light,fan,stool,
etc for each center = Rs.6,000, for 5 centers
= Rs.30,0000
so, a total expenditure of Rs. 4.6 lacs for 12 months
DURATION DETAILS ( 2 MONTHS COURSE)
1) WORKING DAY : MONDAY – SATURDAY( 2 HRS PER BATCH)
DAILY - MORNING- 2 BATCHES & EVENING – 2 BATCHES
2) EACH BATCH 5 GIRLS , FOR 4 BATCHES 20 GIRLS PER DAY & THE THE DURATION WILL BE 2 MONTHS COURSE
3) FOR ADMISSION A REFUNDABLE FEE OF RS.100 WIIL BE COLLECTED & THIS AMOUNT WILL BE RETURNED AFTER THE COMPLETION OF THE COURSE .
4) CERTIFICATE WILL BE GIVEN ( 100 % ATTENDENCE REQUIRED)
5) SUNDAY HOLIDAY
We request you to come forward to help this noble project. This project will be of great help to school drop-outs ( Std 10,11, 12, etc) and make them stand on their own legs.
The cheques, Drafts may be drawn in favour of “ Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Salem”. All donations are exempted from Income Tax under 80-G.
